Celebrate Excellance Contest

It’s Simple
The Celebrate Excellence Contests are designed to satisfy 3 primary objectives toward NAFDMA’s goals for Innovation, Education, Participation and Networking:

1. Stimulate Peer Learning – The contests stimulate sharing of innovations, ideas, strategies, and best practices, by encouraging NAFDMA Convention Circle Members to enter their innovations into contests in a most positive way for others to study, review, and learn from in an interactive venue.

2. Celebrate Excellence – The contests recognize creativity, reward hard work and highlight best practices as determined by the entire NAFDMA Conference Membership through a ballot process. The examples that resonate most among our peers get the most attention by winning the prize and getting honorable mentions. The winners are promoted through a press release by NAFDMA following the convention. Industry publications and local media will pick up these stories. Many featured stories have developed over the years through this unique NAFDMA approach. It creates free press for many NAFDMA members in their own media base and it elevates the visibility of our industry by Celebrating Excellence of NAFDMA members.

3. Advance Best Practices - All NAFDMA Convention Members have an opportunity to study all entries. Through the process of judging and voting, each attendee observes various approaches to the same objective, analyses their own favorite example, and tunes-in to adaptations that will work for themselves. Additionally, the winners and honorable mentions will be asked to give presentations at the conference the following year. This ensures relevant conference programming established through meaningful input from the entire Convention Membership; it advances best practices in our industry by promoting more detailed discussion and how-to information on the most excellent industry examples.
